Site Superintendent - Victoria, BC

A well established general contractor with a strong presence across Vancouver Island is looking for a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial and multi residential projects. This role offers steady project flow, a supportive leadership team and long term career growth.

Responsibilities
• Manage all on site construction activities from start up to close out
• Plan site logistics and communicate the construction plan clearly to all stakeholders
• Review drawings, specifications and codes to ensure compliance and quality
• Coordinate work sequencing, material procurement and subcontractor activities
• Maintain and update the construction schedule and track progress
• Oversee quality control, inspections, testing and site documentation
• Lead daily and weekly site meetings and maintain detailed site logs
• Monitor labour and material costs and support cost control with the Project Manager
• Support commissioning, deficiency lists and turnover requirements

Qualifications
• 5 plus years of experience as a Site Superintendent in commercial or multi residential construction
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving ability
• Proven planning, scheduling and coordination skills
• Hands on construction knowledge with ability to review shop drawings
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage own forces and subcontractor crews

Compensation
• Salary range $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience
