About the Client: My client is an established fitout subcontractor based in East London who work on contracts ranging from £50k – £5m and specialise in such services including; drylining, plastering, ceilings, & partitions.
They work on behalf of a number of leading blue-chip fitout and main contractors, working on some of the most prestigious projects across Central London and are currently building the most professional, skilled, and driven team in order to ensure excellent high-quality finishes for each package.
About the Role: They are seeking a experienced drylining Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who will effectively lead the commercial side of the business, based in the East London office. Reporting to the commercial director and construction director, you will be responsible for managing tenders, delivery and the commercial team of surveyors.
About the Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the construction sector is essential.
- Previous experience in the drylining/fit out market is essential.
- A construction degree or HNC is preferred but not essential.
- Can demonstrate a flexible and positive approach
- computer literacy and the enthusiasm to develop this important role are required.
