Senior Quantity Surveyors required for Design & Build New Build Residential Projects in Dagenham, Deptford, Islington, office based out of NE London/Essex HQ

Established for fifty years they have a solid track record with many leading Public Sector and Social Housing clients as well as numerous private and commercial organisations.
They are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their Design & Build New Build Residential division (circa £90m t/o).
About the Role: To provide commercial expertise and be responsible for the financial delivery of a project to ensure that it is procured and delivered within budget and to the highest quality.

About the Role: To provide commercial expertise and be responsible for the financial delivery of a project to ensure that it is procured and delivered within budget and to the highest quality.
- You will be responsible for all the commercial aspects of projects from appraisal and validation of subcontractor applications
- Cost Valuation Reporting
- Submission & Negotiations of Final Accounts
- Substantial experience in managing and surveying in the construction industry
- A Thorough knowledge of Current Forms of Contract
- Computer Literate
- Excellent Time Management Skills
- A suitable and recognised qualification in building would be an advantage
Duties;
- To maintain established profit margins
- To price all works in line with current market conditions
- To improve where possible company profits
- To ensure contracts are financially controlled, to budget and to the clients requirements
- To manage target costs
- To prepare monthly cost reconciliation for Division Manager
- To undertake site visits in preparation of all tenders and take photographs
- To prepare tenders based on estimating procedures
About the requirements;
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
- Ability to work autonomously as well as function as part of a wider team
- A highly organised individual, dedicated to meeting project deadlines
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business
