Job description
We are working with one of the UK’s largest Main Contractors to recruit for a Site Agent to work in Harlow, Essex on a highways upgrade scheme.
- Reporting into the Project Manager, leading a team of 3 Engineers.
- Working with the team on setting out information and details of technical drawings
- Creating Health and safety procedures, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Management of all sub contractors ensuring they are compliant with company procedures at all times
- Reviewing and updating project plans and new requirements are communicated to the team
- Reviewing and maintaining safe systems of work documentation
- Carrying out site inductions and tool box talks
- Regularly meeting with the site team including engineers, quantity surveyors, safety officers and clerk of works to ensure full understanding of information.
- Attending weekly cost and programme meetings
The successful Site Agent MUST have a degree in civil engineering or equivalent plus at least 5 years post grad experience working on site. You will also be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a desire to progress. Chartered status is advantageous but not essential.
