Accountant/Bookkeeper Required
Salary: $30 - $40 per hour OR Salary
Location: Burnaby
Our client a growing construction company are seeking a Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team.

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable
- Track job costs, budgets, and project expenses
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain the general ledger
- Assist with year-end preparation for external accountants
- Manage vendor accounts, contracts, and payment schedules
- Ensure financial processes align with company policies and industry standards
- Support leadership with financial reporting and forecasting
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
- Experience with job costing or project-based accounting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of payroll processing and government remittances
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Depends on experience
