Assistant Project Manager - ICI Construction

�� Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
 
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial, institutional, and retail construction projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
 
Due to continued growth and an active pipeline of projects, they are looking to add a motivated Assistant Project Manager to their team in East Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their construction management career while working on complex and high-profile projects.
The Role
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to support the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and management of ICI construction projects
• Support the preparation and issuance of subcontracts, purchase orders, and project documentation
• Manage RFI logs, submittals, change orders, and project reporting
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project progress
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities
• Participate in site meetings, project updates, and stakeholder communications
• Support project closeout documentation, including manuals and warranties

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in construction project management
• Experience working on commercial, institutional, or retail construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
