SSA is currently recruiting a Commercial Manager on behalf of a leading international Contractor based in Dublin, delivering high-profile projects across Ireland and Europe.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial professional to join a well-established business with a strong reputation across Data Centre, Life Sciences, Industrial, and Advanced Technology sectors.
About the role: The successful candidate will oversee the commercial delivery of multiple projects while working closely with senior management, project teams, and international stakeholders.
This role offers a hybrid working structure with 3 days based in the Dublin office and 2 days working remotely. The position will also involve short monthly travel to project sites across Europe.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects
- Overseeing contract administration and commercial reporting
- Leading cost control, forecasting, and risk management processes
- Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and valuations
- Supporting project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Preparing and presenting commercial reports to senior management
- Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Supporting business growth and tender review processes where required

Position requirements: - Previous experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior QS position
- Main Contractor experience preferred
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Strong contractual and commercial knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
- Willingness to travel to European project sites monthly
