SSA is currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator on behalf of a well-established Contractor in Galway with a strong pipeline of Commercial and Residential projects across the West of Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious QS / Estimator to join a growing construction business delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors.
About the role:
The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting both pre-construction and project delivery functions across a range of live and upcoming developments.

About the role:
The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial team, supporting both pre-construction and project delivery functions across a range of live and upcoming developments.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Managing subcontractor procurement and pricing packages
- Preparing BOQs and cost plans
- Monitoring project costs, variations, and valuations
- Assisting with monthly cost reporting and forecasting
- Liaising closely with site teams, suppliers, and clients
- Supporting commercial and contractual administration throughout projects

- Main Contractor experience preferred
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating/cost management software
