We are a growing General Contractor/Construction Management firm delivering high-quality ICI and multi-family residential projects across Southwestern Ontario. Known for our collaborative culture and strong project pipeline, we are seeking an Intermediate Estimator to join our team in Brantford.

The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction process, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to develop accurate and competitive bids. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for ICI and multi-family residential projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Assist in the preparation of bid packages, proposals, and tender submissions
• Identify potential project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
• Support project handover to operations teams upon successful award
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical project information
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm
• Proven experience working on ICI and/or multi-family residential projects in Ontario
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local market conditions
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Experience with take-off and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast-paced environment
