SSA is recruiting an Estimator on behalf of an established engineering contractor for a position based in Cork.
About the role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a growing team and play a key role in the preparation and delivery of competitive tenders.
You will be involved throughout the tendering process, reviewing project documentation, completing take-offs, preparing estimates, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations and working closely with the wider commercial and project teams.

- Previous estimating experience within construction or engineering
- Mechanical / M&E estimating experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of tender documentation and take-offs
- Experience obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Strong commercial, numerical and communication skills
- Relevant Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Construction qualification is beneficial
- Valid working rights within Ireland / Europe
