Graduate Site Engineer

A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor is offering an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join its growing team, based in Greater Manchester.

This role is ideal for an ambitious graduate looking to start their career with a respected regional contractor involved in delivering a variety of infrastructure, highways, and public realm projects. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers and site managers, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery — from setting out and quality control to health and safety and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with setting out, surveying, and day-to-day engineering duties on site
  • Ensure works are carried out safely, accurately, and in line with specifications
  • Support senior engineers with quality assurance and progress reporting
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation on site
Key Requirements:
  • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and site operations
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
