SSA are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a for a Manufacturing Company in Cork. The role is a site-based in Fermoy, Co. Cork and this is a permanent position within the company.

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead in maintaining and enhancing all Health, Safety and Environmental standards in operational delivery, ensuring all statutory requirements are met across the site.
• Oversee and review site performance.
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Assist in the overall compilation of Health & Safety Documentation.
• Ensure that personnel are understanding of their duties and responsibilities.
• Actively participate in the promotion of health-related risks and on-site training.
• Delivery of HSE processes, procedures, standards and systems.
• Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Relevant Health & Safety Qualification
• Minimum 3+ years manufacturing experience in heavy duty industry and 3+ years H&S experience ideally 
• Excellent report writing and numerical skills with proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication Skills
