Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: - Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System.
- Assist management in ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure safe working practices are maintained.
- Participate in accident, incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor and track corrective actions to ensure timely completion and effectiveness.
- Deliver safety inductions and support the coordination of employee health and safety training programmes.
- Assist in the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements and safe operating procedures.
- Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement, awareness campaigns and behavioural safety initiatives.
- Maintain health and safety records, reports, training matrices and statutory documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, including drills, response planning and first aid arrangements.
- Liaise with employees, contractors and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.
- Assist with the management of contractor safety and permit-to-work systems where applicable.
To be successful in your application you will ideally possess the following; - Relevant H&S Qualification
