What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the go-to HR expert across all facets of human resources
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices tailored to their workforce
- Partner with field leadership on workforce planning and talent retention
- Drive employee engagement, onboarding, and performance management
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations with professionalism and care
- Coordinate benefits, safety programs, and compliance with WorkSafeBC and other regulations
- Support recruitment for both field and office positions (with external support when needed)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in construction, trades, or field-based environments
- Strong knowledge of BC labour laws, HR best practices, and employment standards
- Proven ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the business
- Exceptional communication, discretion, and organizational skills
