About the Company

A growing Ontario-based consulting firm is looking to add a motivated transportation professional to its remote team. Specializing in traffic engineering and development-related transportation services, this firm works closely with private sector clients to support site development approvals across the province. With deep familiarity with municipal guidelines and strong working relationships with review agencies, they’re known for delivering practical and efficient transportation solutions.

Employees enjoy the benefits of a fully remote work model with flexible hours and the freedom to live where it suits them best—whether across the GTA or Eastern Ontario. The team stays connected through regular virtual meetings and semi-annual in-person events, with optional use of shared office space for collaboration, training, or social interaction when needed.

The Role

This position is ideal for an intermediate engineer ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll lead the preparation of Transportation Impact Studies, Parking Justification Reports, Functional Design work, and site design reviews. You’ll also contribute to mentoring junior staff and supporting project delivery as a junior project manager, with guidance from senior team members.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning, ideally in a consulting or municipal setting.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.

  • Familiarity with Ontario Municipal and Provincial transportation standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid G-class driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
