SSA are recruiting on behalf of a well-established RC Frame and Structural Concrete contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Junior Health & Safety Advisor to support their HSEQ team across multiple projects in Central London.
About the Role:

About the Responsibilities:
- Assist with carrying out regular Health & Safety inspections and audits across live construction sites.
- Support site teams with Health & Safety compliance and company procedures.
- Monitor site activities and identify potential hazards, reporting findings where necessary.
- Assist with reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
- Deliver site inductions and assist with toolbox talks and Health & Safety briefings.
- Help monitor subcontractor compliance and safe systems of work.
- Produce inspection reports and maintain Health & Safety documentation.
- Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across all projects.
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations and company policies.
- Previous experience within construction Health & Safety or a site-based construction role.
- Previous RC Frame experience is highly desirable.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards/completed).
- Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM 2015.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a Health & Safety career.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
