Layout Lead

Are you ready to play a key role in shaping some of Vancouver's most high-profile concrete projects?

We're looking for an experienced Layout Lead to join a growing concrete formwork contractor delivering large-scale commercial, institutional, infrastructure, and high-rise residential projects across the Lower Mainland.
 

About the Opportunity
You'll be an essential part of the site leadership team, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all layout activities related to concrete formwork. Reporting directly to the Site Superintendent, you'll ensure accuracy from gridlines to pour heights while maintaining strong communication across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all site layout for gridlines, slabs, columns, beams, and pour elevations
• Complete and sign off on quality control documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, detailers, and estimating teams
• Interpret blueprints and engineered drawings with precision
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC safety standards and maintain site cleanliness
• Support field teams to ensure layout accuracy and production efficiency

What They're Looking For

• Experience in commercial, high-rise, infrastructure, or concrete formwork construction
• Strong blueprint interpretation skills
• Proficiency with robotic total stations, laser levels, and layout instruments
• Comfortable using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Experience with PERI and Doka systems is considered an asset
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy
• Strong communication and coordination skills
