Mechanical BIM Modeller | Dublin

Our client, A reputable Mechanical Contractor, are rapidly expanding throughout Ireland, with a specific focus on, commercial, data centre, pharma and sectors. This company is a multi-disciplined engineering contractor delivering diverse high-end projects throughout Ireland
About the role:
• Covering projects in Europe

• Working on multimillion projects across Ireland and Europe
• €55-65k salary
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical BIM Modelling: Develop, update, and maintain detailed HVAC, piping, fire protection, and other mechanical models; interpret drawings and design data accurately
- Technical Support: Resolve model-related queries, assist engineering teams, and ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans, standards, and Level of Detail requirements.
- Coordination & Clash Detection: Collaborate with other disciplines, perform clash detection using Navisworks, and issue coordinated models and reports.
- Quality Assurance & Documentation: Maintain accurate model data, produce red-line and as-built models, and manage BIM documentation and coordination reports.
- Construction & Handover Support: Provide models for installation, commissioning, and asset handover; support smooth transition from construction to operation.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Adhere to site safety standards, IMS/ISO requirements, and promote safe design through accurate modelling and coordination
Requirements
•Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, BIM, or a related discipline
•5+ years’ experience in a BIM Modeller role within building services or construction
•Experience working on large commercial, industrial, data centre, or pharmaceutical projects
•Strong hands-on experience delivering coordinated BIM models on live construction projects
•Previous experience working abroad or within multinational project teams is an advantage
•Knowledge of German construction standards (DIN/VDI) beneficial
