This company is currently working on multiple major Pharmaceutical and Industrial Manufacturing facility projects in the Greater Dublin region and are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee these projects.
You will review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, while overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects
Duties include (but not limited to): - Lead and coordinate daily mechanical construction activities to ensure safe, efficient project delivery.
- Manage mechanical installations in line with project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, labour, materials, and equipment to maintain project progress.
- Review drawings, participate in design coordination, and identify construction risks and solutions.
- Monitor site productivity, quality, costs, and progress while supporting programme planning and reporting.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, QA documentation, and successful project handover.
Skills and Requirements:
- Mechanical trade qualification or third-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager within an M&E contractor environment.
- Proven track record delivering mechanical packages on large-scale commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, construction methods, QA, commissioning, and project handover.
- Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, programme delivery, and project costs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a full clean driving licence
