Mechanical Estimator – Building Services
Location: Melbourne | Full-Time
A leading Tier 1 mechanical services contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its Melbourne estimating team. This role supports the tendering of large-scale commercial, healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects across Victoria.
You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive mechanical services estimates, working closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership during the tender phase. The role suits someone with strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical services estimates and cost plans
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options
• Support tender submissions and post-tender clarifications

About You:

• Background in mechanical services estimating or project engineering
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building services construction
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
• High attention to detail with strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
