SSA Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join a respected construction and services business on the Gold Coast. - Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC construction projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Carry out detailed take-offs, cost analysis, and risk reviews.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Support tender submissions and bid strategies.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify scope and requirements.
- Assist with handover of successful tenders to delivery teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes.
- 3+ years’ experience in HVAC or mechanical estimating.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices.
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Clear communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management ability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
