SSA Group are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager for a leading M&E Contractor in Dublin for exciting Residential development projects

Key Responsibilities - Manage the delivery of mechanical packages on residential developments from pre-construction through to handover.
- Plan, programme and coordinate all mechanical works to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, labour resources and material procurement to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Chair site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors and design teams.
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with current building regulations, project specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee QA/QC procedures, inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging activities.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies on site.
- Identify project risks, resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimise programme delays.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports and handover documentation.
- Support the commercial team with valuations, variations and cost control throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements - Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience managing mechanical building services projects, with residential construction experience preferred.
- Proven track record delivering apartment, housing or mixed-use residential developments from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, public health services, heating and ventilation systems.
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications and mechanical design coordination.
- Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, project programmes and site resources.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and variations.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation and quality management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and construction management software.
- Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to project sites as required
