This company is currently working on major healthcare project in Limerick and are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee this projects

Key Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
Manage and coordinate mechanical works, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and project milestones.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and manage drawings, specifications, design information and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate mechanical services with electrical, architectural, structural and other disciplines to ensure effective M&E integration.
Manage procurement, material requirements, subcontractor appointments and site logistics.
Monitor project progress, costs and resources, identifying potential delays, risks and issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
Ensure all mechanical installations meet the required quality, technical, safety and project standards.
Lead regular project and site meetings, providing clear progress updates to clients, senior management and project stakeholders.
Ensure all project documentation, including RAMS, inspections, quality records, commissioning documentation and handover requirements, is maintained and up to date.
Manage the testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover of mechanical systems.
Identify and resolve technical issues, design clashes, variations and project constraints in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures, quality standards and all relevant legislation throughout the project.

Requirements

Relevant Mechanical Engineering / Building Services qualification or equivalent industry experience.
3+ years experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Construction Manager or similar role.
Strong experience managing and delivering mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion.
Experience delivering large-scale construction, data centre, pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial or other complex M&E projects would be advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC, pipework, plant and associated systems.
Strong understanding of project programming, construction sequencing, procurement, cost control and project delivery.
Ability to read, interpret and coordinate mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
Proven ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and site teams effectively.
Excellent communication, organisational, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to monitor project costs, variations and resources.
Strong Health & Safety and quality awareness, with a commitment to maintaining high project standards.
