Job Description

A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in marine and coastal engineering to join its project delivery team, based in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will lead the management of marine infrastructure projects — including harbours, quays, flood defence, and coastal protection schemes — ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical and quality standards.

This is a key leadership role requiring a balance of technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and people management skills to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of marine and civil projects
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and client interfaces
• Control project budgets, programmes, and risk management
• Oversee quality assurance, environmental, and safety performance
• Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and partners

Key Requirements:

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing marine or coastal projects
• Strong leadership and organisational capabilities
• Proficient in NEC contract administration
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
