Construction Project Manager – Commercial Renovation

�� Full-Time | Permanent
�� Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year, based on experience
 
Are you passionate about bringing new life to existing spaces? My client is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager with a focus on commercial renovation projects. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and take the lead on fast-paced, high-impact renovations across the commercial sector.
��️ About the Role
You’ll be responsible for managing commercial renovation projects from pre-construction to post-completion, ensuring that each build is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to transform spaces and exceed expectations.
�� Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial renovation projects from planning to closeout.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Oversee and support site teams to ensure progress, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
• Lead project planning meetings and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
• Procure tools, equipment, and materials as required for the job site.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Monitor site activity and manage change orders, deficiencies, and risk factors.
• Deliver renovated spaces that reflect client expectations and design intent.

✔️ What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management with a specialization in commercial renovations.
• Knowledge of renovation-specific challenges, including demolition, structural modifications, and working within occupied spaces.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects at different phases of completion.
• Experience maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality control systems.
• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Procore, and other construction software tools.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid Health & Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) are an asset.
• Project Management certifications are a plus.
