About the Client
Our client is an established mechanical and electrical contractor with a strong reputation for safe, high-quality project delivery. The business supports commercial, residential, healthcare, education, infrastructure and technically complex building-services schemes, with a clear focus on safe delivery, technical quality and long-term client relationships.

The successful candidate will manage project information and document control processes, ensuring teams work from accurate, approved and traceable information throughout the project lifecycle.

This position will work closely with project leadership, commercial, design, planning and supply-chain stakeholders, providing clear ownership of the role's key deliverables and helping the wider team achieve programme, quality, safety and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the project common data environment and maintain accurate document registers.
• Control the issue, receipt, review, approval and distribution of project information.
• Ensure drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and correspondence are correctly coded and revision controlled.
• Monitor document workflows and chase outstanding reviews, approvals and responses.
• Prepare transmittals, reports and audit trails and support project information reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality, data quality and compliance with project procedures.
• Support teams with document-control systems, naming conventions and information requirements.
• Coordinate record information, O&M documentation and project close-out files.

Candidate Profile
• Previous document-control or project-administration experience within construction or engineering.
• Experience using a common data environment such as Aconex, Asite, Viewpoint, Procore or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and version-control discipline.
• Confident supporting multiple stakeholders and working to time-critical information workflows.

Requirements & Experience
• Strong understanding of document numbering, revision control, transmittals and approval workflows.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet project information deadlines.
• Ability to travel to and work from the Brent Cross location as required.
