Project Manager – Design & Construct Projects

North Lakes Region | Projects up to $50M+ | Builder / Developer
An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to join a builder/developer delivering medium to large-scale residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects under a Design & Construct delivery model.

This role will suit a commercially minded PM who enjoys managing projects from early design coordination through to practical completion and defects. You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within programme and budget expectations.

The position offers involvement across the full lifecycle of projects including design management, procurement, programme delivery, contract administration, stakeholder coordination, and project close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects through all stages from design development to completion
• Coordinate architects, engineers, and specialist consultants throughout the D&C process
• Oversee Site Managers and support site delivery teams
• Monitor construction programmes and drive project milestones
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor engagement, and tender processes
• Manage variations, EOTs, forecasting, and commercial reporting
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, QA systems, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate authority approvals, commissioning, defects, and handover documentation
• Drive buildability outcomes, sequencing, and value engineering initiatives

What’s Required:

• Proven experience delivering projects under a Design & Construct model
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project sequencing
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across design and construction phases
• Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability
• Experience delivering projects ranging from approximately $5M–$50M+
• Background across residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments highly regarded
