Project Manager – Land Development to join their Ottawa team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys leading multidisciplinary projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff while contributing to the successful delivery of complex land development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage land development projects from planning and design through to contract administration and project close-out.
- Define project scope, develop budgets and schedules, and oversee project execution.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring financial performance, quality standards, and schedule commitments are met.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, stakeholders, and subconsultants throughout project delivery.
- Prepare and contribute to proposals, project reports, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering, design, and technical staff.
- Mentor and support junior team members to encourage professional development.
- Assist with Civil 3D design and drafting activities as required to meet project deadlines.
- Support contract administration activities and construction-phase services.
Qualifications - Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional designation such as P.Eng., C.E.T., or C.Tech. in Ontario.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in land development engineering and project delivery.
- Strong understanding of:
- Site Plan and Plan of Subdivision applications
- Municipal servicing studies and reports
- Stormwater Management (SWM) and Low Impact Development (LID) design
- Grading and servicing design
- Tendering, contract administration, and project close-out processes
- Demonstrated experience leading projects, including budget management, scheduling, project reporting, and client management.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
