Job Description

I am seeking an experienced Project Manager on behalf of an established Main Contractor for major construction projects based in Germany.
Salary: €100,000 - €110,000 DOE + Living Abroad Package, Housing Allowance & Additional Benefits.

You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, managing site teams, subcontractors, programmes and budgets while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and delivery of construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Manage and coordinate site teams, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Develop, monitor and manage construction programmes and project milestones.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders.
• Work closely with Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors to monitor project costs, budgets and variations.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractor resources to meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and programme-related issues.
• Provide regular progress reports and project updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience working as a Project Manager on major construction projects.
• Previous experience with a Main Contractor is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project programming and commercial management.
• Demonstrated experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project budgets.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects within agreed timeframes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.
• Previous experience working on projects in Europe is advantageous.
