Job Description

SSA are currently working with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor seeking an experienced Project Planner in Dublin.

Description:
-Developed, maintained, and reviewed detailed master construction programmes and project controls procedures for live projects.
-Prepared and presented progress reviews and reports to senior management.
-Liaised with key stakeholders to review project progress, identify risks, and support proactive problem-solving.
-Established and managed project schedule resource requirements across all phases, including pre-construction, construction, and commissioning.
-Created and maintained progress reporting tools to track the achievement of project goals and key milestones.
-Provided performance updates and variance reports, recommending corrective actions where required.
-Represented the Planning function in client and subcontractor meetings, ensuring clear communication of schedule status and planning issues.
-Supported account management and business development by building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
-Take ownership of assigned projects while assisting colleagues across other projects as needed.
-Ensured project planning practices aligned with company standards and contributed to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
-Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
-Minimum 3+ years’ relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably within a main contracting environment.
-Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally within the data centre or high-tech industrial sectors.
-Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and planning processes.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject; experience with BIM / digital construction tools and workflows is highly desirable
