Project Quantity Surveyor - M&E

About the Client
Our client is an established M&E contractor delivering a major project in South East London. They are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for the M&E package.

About the Role
You will manage the project's day-to-day commercial activity, including procurement, applications, variations, cost reporting, subcontractor accounts and final account preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of an M&E project
• Prepare valuations, applications and monthly cost reports
• Procure and commercially manage subcontract packages
• Identify, price and negotiate variations
• Maintain CVRs, forecasts and project cash flow
• Assess subcontractor applications and payment entitlements
• Manage contractual notices and commercial correspondence
• Work closely with the project team and client representatives
• Drive final account agreement and project close-out

Skills and Experience

• Project Quantity Surveying experience within M&E contracting
• Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and management
• Experience with valuations, variations, CVRs and final accounts
• Sound contractual and commercial knowledge
• Confident negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to manage project priorities independently
