SSA is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a construction contractor for a role based in Athlone.

About the role:
Working closely with the commercial team, you will assist with the day-to-day commercial management of construction projects. Responsibilities will include assisting with subcontractor procurement, preparing valuations, cost reporting, managing variations, supporting CVR reporting, and helping to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or junior QS looking to develop their career within a well-established contractor while gaining exposure to live construction projects and experienced commercial teams.

Position requirements:

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• 0–2 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Full working rights within Ireland
