Senior Electrical BIM Coordinator

Location: Mississauga, ON


We are currently hiring a Senior Electrical BIM Coordinator on behalf of a leading construction company supporting major infrastructure and transportation projects across the GTA.


This role will support a growing Electrical team focused on advanced BIM coordination, digital delivery, and multidisciplinary project execution.


Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate advanced 3D Revit models for electrical systems including power distribution, circuiting, conduit layouts, grounding, lightning protection, lighting systems, lighting controls, and fire alarm systems
• Support Electrical Engineers and Lighting Designers with calculations, equipment selection, and system coordination
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, digital workflows, and quality control procedures
• Mentor and support BIM/Revit team members while promoting best practices in digital delivery
• Assist with project setup and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines
• Coordinate with local and offshore BIM/design teams to support efficient project delivery
• Support the development and implementation of BIM automation tools and workflows
• Stay current with evolving BIM technologies including Revit, ACC, Dynamo, and Navisworks
• Work independently and collaboratively under senior technical leadership on complex infrastructure projects

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical BIM/Revit modelling and coordination within a consulting environment
• Advanced proficiency in Revit 3D modelling
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and multidisciplinary coordination
• Experience supporting infrastructure, transit, or LRT projects considered a strong asset
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments
