Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm seeking a
Senior Project Manager – Land Development to join their growing Ottawa office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced land development professional to lead complex projects across the private and public sectors, including Site Plans, Plans of Subdivision, municipal servicing, grading, stormwater management, and contract administration assignments throughout Ontario.
Key Responsibilities - Lead multiple land development projects from planning through design, construction support, and project close-out
- Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and overall financial performance
- Oversee technical design, servicing studies, grading plans, SWM and LID solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders
- Prepare and review proposals, reports, specifications, and tender documents
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior and intermediate staff
- Support business development and contribute to continued project growth
Requirements - P.Eng., C.E.T., or C.Tech. designation in Ontario
- 10+ years of land development engineering experience
- Strong background in Site Plan and Plan of Subdivision projects
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Knowledge of municipal infrastructure, servicing design, SWM, LID, and contract administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
