About the role: As a Commercial Manager you will be part of the team managing a large refurbishment of a grade II listed project based in London, consisting of 1, 2 & 3-bedroom flats and apartments.

About the Responsibilities:

What you will do:

  • Maximise margin through value engineering, setting robust commercial strategies and proactive   management of contractor’s accounts
  • Optimise cash flow through external valuations and control of subcontractor accounts.
  • Aid the Financial Department in the recovery of outstanding monies.
  • Monitor and facilitate the recovery of retention and the like.
  • Ensure correct contractual procedures are operated for both Main Contracts and Subcontracts.
  • Monitor that subcontract conditions are ‘Back-to-Back’ with main contract conditions or with maximum risk transfer.
  • Provide pre-contract advice to Estimating Department related to amended Terms and Conditions of Main contracts and resource availability for forward workload

  • Taking responsibility and Accountability for packages and interfaces
  • Collaboration with and leadership of the wider team to successfully deliver the project as a whole
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, (Excel, word, Microsoft teams, planner, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of other databases and Coins preferable
