The Company
My client is an industry-leading Commercial Builder that specialises in New Build projects. They are requiring an experienced Facade Foreman to manage the construction of the facade for a Student Accommodation project.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assessing job priorities and assigning employees to appropriate work based on their skill and qualifications
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
- Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
- Coordinate and manage tasks in line with program requirements, priorities, and plans
- Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Overseeing the work and making sure it runs smoothly and as scheduled and finish on time
- Managing both internal staff and subcontractors to ensure Quality and Safety
- Enforcing WHS guidelines and WHS Management Plan
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Requirements
- 3+ years of construction management experience and or construction technical experience
- Current First Aid certificate preferred
- Understanding of building codes & regulations
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Sound knowledge of OH&S practices
