The Company

My client is an industry-leading Commercial Builder that specialises in New Build projects. They are requiring an experienced Facade Foreman to manage the construction of the facade for a Student Accommodation project.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assessing job priorities and assigning employees to appropriate work based on their skill and qualifications
  • Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
  • Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
  • Coordinate and manage tasks in line with program requirements, priorities, and plans
  • Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
  • Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
  • Overseeing the work and making sure it runs smoothly and as scheduled and finish on time
  • Managing both internal staff and subcontractors to ensure Quality and Safety
  • Enforcing WHS guidelines and WHS Management Plan
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget

 
Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction management experience and or construction technical experience
  • Current First Aid certificate preferred
  • Understanding of building codes & regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S practices
