The Company
My client is a Builder that specialises in Commercial projects. They are requiring an experienced Finance Officer to join their team.
The Role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Running of day-to-day financial requirements
- Banking, payments and reconciliations
- Weekly Payroll of 15+ employees
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions including banking, invoicing, payments and debt collection
- Superannuation returns
- Communicating with external accountant with quarterly BAS, annual tax returns/accounts and any other ATO requirements
- Other ad-hoc financial/management accounting duties as requested by Director
- Property management duties for numerous residential and commercial buildings
- Human Resources duties
- General Administration duties
Requirements
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in a similar role
- Qualification in Finance/Accounting, CA/CPA not essential
- Experience with MYOB Account Right
- Proficient IT skills including use of Outlook, Word, Excel
