I am currently working on behalf of my client who are one of the leading civil construction and piling companies who operate throughout Victoria. They are seeking a Piling Supervisor to join their company in order to support the growing portfolio of works that have been awarded. Projects will mainly consist of Bored, Driven & CFA works.
The company are a very reputable company who have been around a long time and have a very good reputation within the rail industry. They have various high-profile projects currently underway, as well as been awarded several new projects for 2020.
Role:
- Management of simultaneous sites
- Working closely with the Project Manager
- Pre-site meetings
- Liaising with client and Engineer
- Allocation of Plant and Labour
- Management of several piling crews
- Tool box talks
- Keeping of accurate site records.
- Handling site paperwork
- Driving the site forward
- Ensure all work is completed accurately & on time
About the Requirements:
- An exceptional background within the piling and ground engineering sector.
- Knowledge of Bored & CFA piling
- Ability to motivate and manage the piling crews
- Able to liaise with all levels of the team from Mangers to Labourers
- Some knowledge of Tier 1 builders/contractors
- Strong communication/leadership skills
- Be able to think on your feet
- Be capable of dealing with difficult situations
- Have the desire to succeed
- Be a person that gets things done with minimal fuss
