SSA are recruiting a Group EHS Manager on behalf of a highly respected Civil Engineering Contractor to be based in Galway. This is a permanent position within the company.

Our Client are a reputable Civil Engineering Contractor that have an impressive portfolio of completed and ongoing work on throughout Ireland and Internationally.
About the role:
- Operate as Group Health & Safety Manager, assisting in management of several Health & Safety Officers across various projects.
- 50/50 split Galway Office Based/Site Based.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Collaborate with all departments and site management teams.
- Maintain ISO standards 14001 and 45001 and company policies.
- Assist in overall management of EHS team.
- Review EHS management system.
- Conduct quarterly audits of all sites.
- Manage the company EHS training plan.
- Manage and progress environmental management processes.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
- Hold a relevant Qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ Health & Safety experience, within a Senior/Managerial position
- Main Contractor Experience preferred.
