SSA are recruiting a Junior Health & Safety Officer on behalf of a Leading Property Development Contractor for a Wicklow based position. This is a permanent position within the company.
About the client:
Our client are a respected contractor who are highly renowned within the Construction Industry. They have a vast array of ongoing and completed projects throughout the country.
About the role:
- Wicklow – Based.
- Strong IT Skills required.
- Health & Safety qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Become part of an established Main Contractor.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in setting up training sessions, prepare paperwork and file paperwork when complete.
- Work effectively both on-site and office-based.
- Assist in giving Tool Box Talks.
- Assist with Health and Safety Inductions.
- Maintain ISO Standards.
- Maintenance of safety documentation and paperwork.
- Work effectively under the guidance of Senior Health & Safety Personnel and the overall Management team.
- Promote a strong safety culture on site.
To be successful in your application you will possess the following;
- Health & Safety qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Health & Safety experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong IT Skills
- Strong communication skills
