I am seeking a Senior Engineer on behalf of a highly reputable Developer for a long-term development in North County Dublin. The company in question is a family-based business with a very good reputation, and despite growing to become a leader within the industry, they are still very much a close-knit company. They have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned projects, and are now seeking a Senior Engineer for an ongoing development in the Lusk area in North Dublin. The development itself is a mix of houses and apartments, with some retail units also.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in maintaining the progress on site in accordance with Project Programme, H&S and Building Regulations.
- Assist in producing and maintaining contract programs with the Project Manager/Contracts Manager
- Liaise with senior management and commercial teams to ensure the project meets overall budget requirements
- Management of the procurement of materials, plant and equipment needed for the project
- Management of sub-contractors and site personnel
- Drive project through to successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Maintaining, tracking and scheduling work programmes and reviewing weekly progress reports from the master construction programme
To be successful in your application you will possess the following:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Degree qualified in Construction or Civil Engineering
- Highly motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Excellent people management and communication skills
