About the ClientOur client is an established M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of building services projects. They are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across the business's project portfolio.
About the RoleYou will oversee project commercial strategy, manage risk and reporting, support the Quantity Surveying team and ensure robust contractual and financial control from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities - Lead commercial management across multiple M&E projects
- Oversee CVRs, forecasts, cash flow and project reporting
- Manage contractual risk, change control and commercial correspondence
- Review procurement strategies and subcontractor appointments
- Support and develop Quantity Surveyors within the team
- Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor applications, payments and final accounts
- Work closely with directors and project teams on commercial performance
- Ensure commercial procedures and governance are consistently applied
Skills and Experience - Senior commercial experience within M&E or specialist contracting
- Strong contract, cost reporting and risk-management knowledge
- Proven experience leading commercial teams
- Confident negotiation and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong leadership and commercial judgement
