CSA Quantity Surveyor (MEP) Location - SloughDescriptionOur client is a leading specialist contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor to join a major project team in the Slough area.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project leadership team, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of a large-scale construction project, ensuring costs are effectively managed, contractual obligations are met, and commercial performance is maximised throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities - Provide commercial and contractual support to the Commercial Manager and project team.
- Prepare internal valuations, cost reports, and commercial performance updates.
- Manage subcontractor, supplier, and consultant accounts, including valuations and payments.
- Prepare and manage variations, remeasurements, and change control processes.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and commercial performance against project targets.
- Coordinate invoice approvals and support accurate financial reporting and accruals processes.
- Liaise with procurement, finance, suppliers, and project stakeholders to resolve commercial queries.
- Support the maintenance of accurate commercial records and project documentation.
Requirements - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience within the construction sector.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost management, valuations, and subcontract administration.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management software.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work to demanding deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience within CSA, mission-critical, data centre, industrial, or large-scale construction projects would be advantageous.
