Job Description

SA Group is currently recruiting a Compliance Manager for a leading General Contractor operating in the data centre sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with German construction regulations, permits, safety requirements and technical standards throughout major data centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with German construction regulations, permits and applicable legal requirements
• Coordinating with local authorities and relevant regulatory bodies
• Supporting inspections, approvals and project compliance processes
• Reviewing and maintaining technical and compliance documentation
• Monitoring compliance with fire safety and Brandschutz requirements
• Identifying compliance risks and supporting corrective actions
• Working closely with Project Management, QA/QC teams, contractors and clients
• Supporting the project team with regulatory and technical compliance matters
• Conducting site visits and following up on compliance-related issues

Requirements

• Strong background in construction, civil engineering, MEP/TGA or a related technical field
• Experience with construction compliance, regulations, inspections or technical documentation
• Good knowledge of German construction regulations and permitting processes
• Understanding of fire safety / Brandschutz requirements
• Experience working with authorities, contractors and other project stakeholders
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Fluent German and English
• Willingness to travel when required

Location
Bedburg, Frankfurt or Massen, Germany.
The role is site-based, Monday to Friday, with no rotation system.

Package

• Salary: €70,000–€95,000 gross per year, depending on experience
• Annual bonus: 10%
• Company car or car allowance
• Company-provided accommodation or accommodation allowance 
• 25 days’ annual leave
• Some business travel may be required
