About the Client: The Company we represent has been an established name in industry now for over 25yrs, currently turnover £120m and are a privately owned specialist sub-contractor with expertise in groundwork's & RC Frames projects to the value of £50m. They operate mainly in South East of England, predominantly London based, and have become well known as being one of the most professional and technically strong sub-contractors in the UK, with good safety regulations in place, their own plant, and a strong senior management team that have all been there for over 15yrs now.
About the role: The client is seeking to take on a degree qualified, highly driven and determined Quantity Surveyor with knowledge and experience working within large RC frame packages, ideally from £10m upwards. Our client wants someone who can manage packages from £10m too £30m, from front end through to final accounts with minimal hassle, liaise accordingly in a professional manner to clients that have been with them for over 20years, as well as on site with operational staff.
About the Duties:
About the requirements: You must be degree qualified and have worked in Civils/Structures for at least 5yrs, and ideally have managed a portfolio of groundworks & RC Frame packages. You will be required to manage and guide the more junior members of the commercial department at times and be a highly driven and determined individual.

About the Duties:
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial control
- Producing CVRs, cost reports, and forecasts
- Preparing and agreeing valuations
- Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
- Identifying and managing variations and change control
- Liaising with site teams, clients, and consultants
- Supporting tendering and procurement activities where required
