SSA Group are currently looking for a
Mechanical Site Manager for a leading M&E Contractor in Dublin, working on exciting residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities - Manage the day-to-day delivery of mechanical installations across residential developments.
- Coordinate and supervise mechanical site teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
- Plan and coordinate labour, materials, plant and equipment to ensure works remain on programme.
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure installations are completed correctly.
- Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, structural, architectural and other trades on site.
- Monitor progress against the project programme and identify potential delays or issues.
- Ensure all mechanical installations are completed to the required quality and project specifications.
- Oversee QA/QC inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging activities.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, main contractor, consultants and design team to resolve site issues.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Manage material deliveries, storage and availability to ensure continuous site progress.
- Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues on site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate site records, drawings, documentation and progress reports.
- Support the Project Manager with programme updates, variations, valuations and general project reporting.
Requirements - Mechanical trade qualification, degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services.
- 5+ years’ experience working on mechanical building services projects, ideally within an M&E contracting environment.
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Supervisor or Senior Mechanical Engineer.
- Strong experience delivering mechanical installations on residential, commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, public health, heating and ventilation systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications and site coordination.
- Proven experience managing mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics and project programmes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple site stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Irish Health & Safety requirements and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant construction/site management software.
- Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
