About the company:

Our client is a highly regarded M&E Contractor with a strong presence across Europe and an established track record delivering large-scale, technically complex projects.

Due to continued growth within their European operations, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their project team in Sweden, working on a major data centre development.

About the role:

Duties include (but not limited to):
  • Support the coordination and delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical submittals.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors and the wider project team on daily site activities.
  • Assist with site QA/QC procedures, inspections and installation verification.
  • Monitor progress of electrical works and report programme updates to senior management.
  • Manage and maintain electrical documentation, technical submittals and project records.
  • Attend site, engineering and planning meetings.
  • Raise and track RFIs in conjunction with the design and construction teams.
  • Identify and assist in resolving technical, design and coordination issues.
  • Support the tracking of variations, progress claims and commercial information.
  • Assist with snagging, close-out and handover of electrical systems.


Position Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience within electrical construction or building services.
  • Previous experience working with electrical systems including power distribution, lighting and associated services.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and installation practices.
  • Good organisational, communication and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Previous data centre, industrial or mission-critical project experience is highly advantageous.
