Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Canary Wharf, London

About the Client
Our client is a leading M&E contractor delivering a major commercial project in Canary Wharf. They are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join the project team.

About the Role
You will provide technical and coordination support across electrical packages, working closely with design, construction, commercial and commissioning teams to ensure the installation is compliant, coordinated and delivered to programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical design and installation information
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and equipment schedules
• Manage RFIs, submittals and technical queries
• Support procurement and ensure materials align with project requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines
• Monitor installation quality and technical compliance
• Attend design, progress and coordination meetings
• Support testing, commissioning and handover documentation
• Maintain accurate engineering records and trackers

Skills and Experience

• Electrical engineering experience within building services
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
• Ability to review technical drawings and specifications
• Experience coordinating with design and site teams
• Good knowledge of quality, commissioning and handover processes
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
