Entry to Project Level Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer | Perth

An exciting opportunity exists for an Entry to Project Level Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established geotechnical consultancy delivering major mining and infrastructure projects across Western Australia.
  
Working alongside industry leaders with 30+ years of experience, you'll gain exposure to projects from feasibility through to construction and operations, including mining, processing facilities, transport corridors, ports and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with geotechnical investigations and site inspections.
• Undertake geological mapping, logging and ground investigations.
• Interpret geotechnical data and develop ground models.
• Support geotechnical analysis, earthworks and foundation design.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to project delivery.
• Assist with proposals, risk assessments and client support.

About You

• 6 months plus local Australian experience in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering.
• Relevant degree in Engineering Geology, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus).
• Knowledge of AS1726.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Willingness to travel to site when required.
