About the Opportunity A well-established civil contractor delivering infrastructure, utilities, excavation, and site servicing projects across the Lower Mainland is seeking a proactive and driven Health & Safety Coordinator. Key Responsibilities - Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the company's Health & Safety Program
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ongoing worker training
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and COR requirements
- Support incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans
- Maintain safety documentation, statistics, and compliance records
- Work closely with site supervisors and project managers to promote a strong safety culture
- Assist with return-to-work programs and claims management
Qualifications - 2+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role within civil construction or infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations
- Experience supporting or maintaining COR certification
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence field teams
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
