Junior Contracts Manager

About the Client
Our client is an established electrical contractor delivering building services packages across London. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Junior Electrical Contracts Manager to support the delivery of live projects.

About the Role
Working alongside experienced contracts and project managers, you will support the day-to-day coordination of electrical works from pre-construction through to completion. This position suits someone with an electrical background who is ready to move into contracts management and take on greater responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of electrical installation projects
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and programme requirements
• Assist with reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Monitor progress and help ensure works are delivered safely and to programme
• Attend project, client and site meetings
• Support procurement and the preparation of project documentation
• Liaise with site teams, suppliers and the wider project team
• Help manage technical queries, variations and project records
• Assist with quality inspections, testing, commissioning and handover

Skills and Experience

• Electrical installation, engineering or building services experience
• An interest in progressing into contracts management
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Confident working with site and office-based teams
• Good IT skills and attention to detail
