Mechanical Project Manager

About the Client
Our client is an established M&E contractor delivering mechanical building services projects across the region. They are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their project delivery team.

About the Role
You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical projects, coordinating design, procurement, installation, programme, commercial matters and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical projects from mobilisation through to completion
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and procurement
• Monitor project programme, progress, cost and quality
• Review mechanical drawings and technical information
• Lead progress, client and coordination meetings
• Manage technical queries, variations and project risks
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover
• Maintain accurate reports and project records
• Ensure high health and safety and quality standards

Skills and Experience

• Mechanical project management experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and building services installations
• Ability to manage programmes and subcontractors
• Commercial awareness and experience managing change
• Strong leadership and client communication
• Ability to solve technical and delivery issues
