About the ClientOur client is an established M&E contractor delivering mechanical building services packages across the South East. Due to a strong project pipeline, they are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join the business.
About the RoleYou will take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating programme, procurement, labour, commercial performance and client communication.
Key Responsibilities - Manage mechanical projects from mobilisation through to handover
- Plan labour, procurement and subcontractor requirements
- Monitor programme, progress, cost and quality
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submissions
- Lead project, coordination and client meetings
- Manage technical queries, variations and design changes
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover
- Maintain accurate project reporting and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards
Skills and Experience - Previous mechanical project management experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical building services
- Ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and project documentation
- Commercial awareness and experience managing change
- Strong client-facing and leadership skills
- Ability to deliver multiple priorities to deadline
